In a unexpected crossover event that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana together with several objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
