UK Player Wins £26m European Lottery Prize

Lottery Prize EuroMillions Payout

A single British ticket-holder has secured the £26m European lottery top prize, the National Lottery have verified.

The lucky combination drawn on the Friday draw were 06, 12, 18, 25 and 41, with the Lucky Star numbers 02 and 06.

This marks the third EuroMillions top prize won in the Britain this year out of ten conducted to date.

At the start of the year, a single player secured £83m, then came a sixty-five million pound February 14 win. Both winners chose to remain unidentified.

Nevertheless, the successful player of the Saturday ten point six million pound UK Lotto grand prize has not yet claimed.

A senior winners' adviser urged participants to take a few minutes to review their numbers and online notifications.

The lucky Lotto combination for last Saturday were: 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, 59 and the additional digit was 42.

"We will be on hand to provide guidance and offer access to experts who can help winners maximize the jackpot for them and family and friends," the official stated.

The EuroMillions prize will be checked against the lottery regulations, and after confirmation, the jackpot recipient will decide whether to reveal their identity.

Although making them a multi-millionaire, the Friday jackpot of twenty-six million pounds does not put the winner among the biggest EuroMillions successful players.

A jackpot of above 183 million pounds would have been necessary to earn a position in the leading ten of jackpot prizes.

The top jackpot claimed by a UK player is £195 million in two years ago, as reported by the lottery.

Although it is difficult to hit the prize, it is simpler than people believe to miss out on the winnings.

An individual failed to claim a £1m prize recently after failing to claim a lottery success within the 180-day deadline, meaning the money was given to charitable causes.

The biggest EuroMillions jackpot to remain unclaimed in the UK was sixty-three point eight million pounds in 2012.

The European lottery is held every twice weekly across multiple European states.
